Description: Part of a renovation project to convert an existing office block from the 1960s into a mixed-use, low energy development. 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bedroom/Study, 2 Bathrooms (1 is en-suite to Master Bedroom), open plan living/dining/kitchen space. Reclaimed kitchen with granite worktops. Feature bottle wall, feature curved walls, super-insulated walls with a mixture of render and natural cedar cladding, communal solar thermal and wood pellet heating systems.
Involvement: The project was realised by a development team comprising 6 self-build flat owners and 1 community group. The community group own and run workshop/offices and a community room on the ground floor. Each flat was developed individually as a self-build project.

Timing: Bought into scheme 2008. Completed flat and moved in by 2010
